A well-established 20-person CPA firm in Madison, Indiana is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to step into a leadership role and grow into Partner. This isn't a vague "partner track someday" pitch. The firm is planning for succession and wants someone who can build relationships with key clients, help lead the team, and become one of the people running the firm.

What You'll Do

\n
• Lead and review complex business tax engagements for a varied client base
\n
• Provide tax planning and consulting work that goes well beyond compliance
\n
• Build trusted relationships with clients and carry them through the firm's leadership transition
\n
• Mentor and develop staff, and help shape how the tax practice runs
\n
• Work closely with firm leadership on growth, client service, and long-term direction
\n

What We're Looking For

\n
• CPA license required
\n
• Solid tax manager or senior manager experience in public accounting
\n
• Strong business tax background, with comfort in consulting and planning work
\n
• Leadership experience, or a strong drive to lead, mentor, and take ownership
\n
• Someone who wants to put down roots and become a long-term leader of the firm
\n
